This Cookie Policy explains how Brimold uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It sets out what cookies are, which ones we use, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences. Please read this alongside our Privacy Policy.
01
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device โ computer, tablet, or phone โ when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device on return visits and to store certain information about your preferences or browsing behaviour.
Cookies do not typically contain information that directly identifies you, though they may link to personal data held elsewhere. Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can adjust your browser settings to refuse them โ see Section 6 for guidance.
We use cookies to help the website function correctly, to understand how visitors use our pages, and to remember preferences where relevant.
02
Cookies We Use
We use four categories of cookies. Essential cookies are always active and cannot be disabled, as they are necessary for the website to operate. The remaining categories are optional and subject to your consent.
| Category | Purpose | Duration | Required |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | Core site functionality, session management, security tokens | Session | Always on |
| Analytics | Understand how visitors navigate and interact with pages | Up to 2 years | Optional |
| Marketing | Measure relevance of content and support appropriate outreach | Up to 1 year | Optional |
| Preferences | Remember language, region, or layout choices for return visits | Up to 1 year | Optional |
03
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on this website may be set by third-party services that we use to understand site performance. These services may include:
- Google Analytics โ to understand aggregate page usage and visitor flow. Google's data practices are governed by its own privacy terms.
- Google Maps โ embedded on our contact page to display our location. Google may set cookies when this map is loaded.
We do not sell your data to third parties, and third-party cookies placed via our site are subject to the respective provider's policies. Where you decline analytics or marketing cookies, these services are not activated.
04
Your Cookie Preferences
You can review and adjust your cookie preferences below. Your choices are saved to this browser and will be applied when you return to our site. Changes here are reflected across your session on this website.
Required for the website to function. These cannot be disabled.
Help us understand how visitors use our pages so we can improve the experience.
Allow us to understand which outreach is relevant and helpful to visitors.
Remember settings and layout choices between visits.
05
Cookie Duration
Cookies fall into two duration types:
- Session cookies are temporary and are deleted from your device when you close your browser. They help maintain continuity within a single visit โ for example, keeping you navigating smoothly from page to page.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period (as shown in the table in Section 2) or until you delete them. They allow the site to recognise returning visitors and retain preferences across visits.
06
