Participation in Brimold programmes is open to adults aged 18 years and above. Specific programmes may carry additional age eligibility requirements as stated in the programme description.

03
Service Description
Brimold offers small-cohort reading programmes on topics related to personal finance, household money habits, and estate planning vocabulary. All programmes are educational in nature and are structured around guided reading and group discussion.
Our programmes do not constitute financial advice, legal advice, investment advice, or any form of regulated financial service. No recommendations regarding specific financial products, investment decisions, or legal instruments are made during our sessions.
Programme availability is subject to sufficient enrolment and the availability of suitable venues in Singapore. Brimold reserves the right to postpone or cancel a programme where minimum enrolment thresholds are not met, with full refunds issued to registered participants in such cases.
04
Enrolment and Registration
Enrolment is completed when Brimold receives your completed enquiry form and full programme fee, and issues a written confirmation to your registered email address.
Each programme operates with a fixed cohort size. Places are allocated on a first-confirmed basis. Submission of an enquiry does not guarantee a place; confirmation is only effective upon receipt of written confirmation from Brimold.
Participants are responsible for providing accurate personal information at the time of registration. Changes to registration details should be communicated promptly to [email protected].
Brimold may, at its discretion, decline an enrolment where it considers participation unsuitable, for example where a participant does not meet the stated age range for a programme.
05
User Responsibilities
As a Participant, you agree to:
- Attend sessions punctually and engage with the reading materials in advance of each session, where pre-reading is distributed.
- Conduct yourself respectfully towards other participants and Brimold staff during all sessions and communications.
- Refrain from recording, photographing, or otherwise capturing session content without prior written consent from Brimold.
- Treat session discussions as confidential and not disclose personal information shared by other participants outside the cohort setting.
- Not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise any programme materials provided by Brimold.
- Notify Brimold promptly if you are unable to attend a scheduled session.
Brimold reserves the right to ask a participant to leave a session or withdraw from a programme if their conduct is disruptive or inconsistent with these responsibilities, without entitlement to a refund.
06
Payment Terms
All programme fees are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of any applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) where required by law.
Programme Fees
- Personal Finance Reading Group: S$155 per participant
- Mid-Life Reset Reading Circle: S$420 per participant

Payment
Full payment is required to confirm enrolment. Payment methods accepted will be communicated at the time of enrolment confirmation. Brimold does not accept partial payments or instalment arrangements unless expressly agreed in writing.
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations made more than 14 calendar days before the first session of a programme will receive a full refund, less any administrative fee notified at the time of enrolment. Cancellations made within 14 days of the first session are not eligible for a refund, though Brimold may, at its discretion, offer a credit toward a future programme.
If Brimold cancels or postpones a programme, registered participants will receive a full refund of their programme fee or the option to transfer to an alternative date.
Requests to transfer enrolment to another cohort or programme date may be accommodated subject to availability and written agreement from Brimold.
07
Programme Terms
Brimold programmes are educational reading circles and workshops. Participation confers no formal qualification, certification, diploma, or accreditation of any kind.
Session schedules are communicated in advance and are subject to change. Brimold will provide reasonable notice of any schedule adjustments.
Physical programme materials (binders, glossary cards, notebooks) are provided as part of the programme fee and remain the property of the participant once distributed. These materials are for personal use only.
Participants who miss sessions are not entitled to a refund for missed sessions, though Brimold may, where practical, share reading materials from sessions not attended.
Brimold reserves the right to modify the structure, content, or facilitators of a programme where reasonably necessary, and will communicate any material changes to registered participants in advance.
08

09
Disclaimers
Brimold programmes are offered for educational and reading purposes only. Nothing in any Brimold programme, session, or material constitutes financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, or any regulated advisory service.
Participants are encouraged to consult qualified professionals โ including licensed financial advisers, solicitors, and notaries โ before making decisions relating to their personal financial arrangements, estate planning, or legal documents.
Brimold makes no representations that participation in a programme will lead to any particular financial or personal outcome. Programmes are designed to build vocabulary, reading familiarity, and informed understanding, and not to direct specific decisions.
Programme materials are provided in good faith for educational use. Brimold does not warrant the completeness, currency, or fitness for purpose of any material for any individual's specific circumstances.
10
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Brimold's total liability to any Participant arising out of or in connection with a programme shall not exceed the programme fee paid by that Participant for the programme in question.
Brimold shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss or damage arising from participation in a programme, including but not limited to loss of income, financial decisions made by a participant following attendance, or reliance on programme materials.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by Brimold's negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Brimold shall not be liable for delays or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to public health directives, venue unavailability, or force majeure events.
11
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brimold, its staff, and associates from any claim, loss, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms and Conditions, your conduct during a programme, or any misuse of programme materials.
12
Termination
Brimold may withdraw a Participant from a programme, with immediate effect and without refund, where that Participant has breached these Terms and Conditions, acted in a manner disruptive to other participants, or engaged in conduct inconsistent with the spirit of the programme.
A Participant may withdraw from a programme by notifying Brimold in writing. Refund entitlements are governed by the Cancellation and Refunds provisions in Section 6.
Upon termination or withdrawal, the Participant's licence to use programme materials for personal educational purposes survives, subject to the intellectual property restrictions in Section 8. All other rights and obligations that arose prior to termination continue to apply.
13
Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
If a dispute arises in connection with a programme, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith discussion. Participants are encouraged to contact Brimold directly at [email protected] to raise any concerns.
Where informal resolution is not achieved within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to mediation through the Singapore Mediation Centre before pursuing legal proceedings.
The courts of Singapore shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that proceeds to legal action.
14
General Provisions
Entire Agreement. These Terms and Conditions, together with any programme-specific enrolment documents provided to you, constitute the entire agreement between Brimold and the Participant in relation to programme participation.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Waiver. Brimold's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision at a later date.
Assignment. Participants may not transfer their enrolment to another individual without Brimold's prior written consent. Brimold may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms to a successor entity without notice.
Notices. Formal notices from Brimold to Participants will be sent to the email address provided at registration. Notices from Participants to Brimold should be addressed to [email protected].
