What the Atelier Offers

Reading-Led Structure

Materials are circulated in advance. Each session begins with the text, not a presentation. Participants read, question, and discuss at a comfortable pace.

Small Cohorts

Groups are kept to twelve participants. This allows for considered conversation and room for each person's questions to be heard properly.

Singapore Context

All reading materials reference Singapore-specific frameworks — CPF, MAS terminology, local documentation, and the institutions participants are most likely to encounter.

Educational Scope Only

No advice, no product recommendations, no regulated services. The programmes build reading fluency and vocabulary to support conversations with qualified professionals.

Curated Materials

Every programme includes physical materials — clothbound binders, glossary cards, and structured notebooks — chosen to support reading and reflection beyond the session.

Thoughtful Pacing

Programmes are designed for adults with full schedules. Sessions are weekly or monthly, and the reading load is measured — enough to be useful, not enough to be burdensome.

Places Fill Quietly — A Note Before the Next Cohort

Each cohort is kept deliberately small. If a programme interests you, the clearest step is to write and ask about the next available schedule.

Common Questions

Reading Atelier — Questions

Who are these programmes designed for?
The reading groups and workshops are for adults aged 40 and above who want to read more confidently about personal finance, household money habits, and estate-related vocabulary. No prior financial knowledge is assumed or needed.
Are these programmes regulated financial services?
No. Brimold programmes are educational in scope. We provide reading materials, structured discussion, and vocabulary-building frameworks. No advice is offered, no products are recommended, and no regulated financial services are provided.
How does a reading session work?
A chapter or reading is sent to participants before each session. The meeting opens with a brief review, then continues as a small-group discussion. Questions are welcomed; the facilitator guides reading comprehension rather than delivering a lecture.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are held at the Brimold atelier at Capital Tower, Robinson Road, Singapore. Specific session dates, times, and room details are confirmed upon enrolment.
What is the cost, and what does it cover?
The Personal Finance Reading Group is S$155 for six weeks. The Mid-Life Reset Reading Circle is S$420 for four months. The Estate Planning Reading Workshop is S$880 for a weekend. All fees include physical programme materials — binders, glossary cards, and discussion notebooks.
How do I reserve a place?
Use the enquiry form on this page or call +65 6852 1490. A member of the atelier will be in touch within two working days to discuss the next available cohort and confirm your place.
Is my personal information kept private?
Yes. Participant information is held in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act. Details are used only for programme administration and are not shared with third parties. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.
